Simple log on security?

I was at one site and there were a few users, all win98 and they are looking for a simple security setup. You can just bypass the windows logon screen so they are afraid someone will look at their files. Anyone know of anything, preferably freeware that works well and is very simple, doesn't even have to be super secure just more peace of mind for them since it really isn't anything too important.
I found a few utils on download.com for encrypting but it wants you do each file, is there a simple logon sort of thing? If all else fails I could do a bios password but they need to leave some of them on all the time.
thanks,
Daniel

can't really help ya here.. the only thing that 98 password does is lock you profiles setting(saved passwords and such). I believe...

for files.. upgrade to nt or win2k... i don't know of any add-on software that does this.. good luck

There are programs that will give you that "logon" security that you want, but without file-level encryption the files are not safe. Win98/ME is impossible to secure without 3rd party encryption, no exceptions 🙁
