There is a little problem with my site, the line spacing after a form is incorrect when initially loading the page, but then after refreshing the page the spacing seems to correct itself. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It has been nagging me all day...

What browser are you using? Shoulds like it has issues rendering it.

Also, can we get a link to the page?

i had a similar problem on a very very old (pent 133, 2mb vid card, 32mb ram) machine that was messing up much of the formatting and pics.
reduced the hardware accelleration on the display properties (display-properties --> settings --> advanced) and the problem went away

Ah, thanks for reminding me about the browser, the problem only seems to occur when using Firefox v9.x, when using IE, the problem goes away. Now, to see if I can find something to put a stop to this...

Are you using tables to format (position) the fields of the form?
If so, i'm assuming you put the <form> tags outside the <table> tags, as it should be?

I've had this, too .. And there will be extra spaces added to the end of the form.

I think one of the ways to fix this problem it is to style the form so that they have padding:0; and margin:0;
But then again, i may be wrong ....

Non-html-compliant fix will be to put the <form> tags inside <table> -- but that's just stupid.

Yup, that's something I always do. Forms shouldn't be formatting the document at all, IMO, though for some dumb reason, they always render as a block.

Can you try with a Mozilla (not Firefox) nightly? If the problem still exists, please post a testcase and file a bug (note that it may be a known bug, so try not to file a duplicate, and check this one first)
