Simple File Sharing Missing In XP Pro

A friends computer was infected, after cleaning it I noticed under:

Tools - Folder Options - View - Advanced settings...

There is no option at the bottom for simple file sharing, it seems some malware removed the option.

Anyone know how I can add it back in? ( Guess I need to add back a reg. entry)

P.S. My bad this is XP Home, my understanding is Home doesn't have this option, correct?

According to this MS article, XP Home does have SSFS, but it is apparently on by default - not switchable.

And this confirms - it cannot be disabled in XP Home, therefore it would not be in the menu.

Grrrrr.....XP Home. Microsoft's little joke on people who have to support small businesses.

Yeah, no option to turn off Simple File Sharing in XP Home.
