would a case fan be pluged in CHA_FAN or F_FAN on a motherboard? i have the Asus a7v. i think it's the first one that i mentioned but just checking.
 
just make sure that fan has a 3 pin connector for connection to m/board header. if it has 4 pins then you'll have to connect it directly to psu supply!
