I would prefer a nanobot to run around my arteries and clean the plaque off the walls. That way I could eat whatever I wanted.

Study simple principals of hydraulics. Same principals apply to our bodies and the circulatory system. Smaller pipes need more pressure to maintain equivelent flow.

Right, but higher pressure causes turbulance.

That is one thing the doctor is listening for when he listens to your heart.

So, how can you get rid of turbulance?
Blood thinner like Warfarin or aspirin.

Your veins are actually not ridged pipes, but they expand and contract slightly under changes in preassure, still basic physics apply.

I bet Hearthsurgeon can tell us more details.

If you were to kill yourself, you would not have to worry about any health problems.
