simple circuit/laplace transform question

a 10 k-ohm, a 5 H inductor and a 20nF capacitor are in series.

exress the s-domain impedence of this series circuit as a rational function


so do I laplace transform the circuit first, or do I find the impedence first? how do I find the impedence if I have no frequency?

and if I laplace transform the circuit, I get a resistor, a voltage source, inducotr, a voltage sorce, and a capacitor. all in a series.

what can I do w/ that?

any idea on how to solve the problem
 
Solve it in the S-domain right? So the impedance of the resistor is R, the inductor is sL and the capacitor 1/(sC). What kind of voltage source is it? What output are you looking for? Simplest thing to do would be to use do a voltage divider; find the current and proceed accordingly.
 
the problem just gives the 3 elements, and no other informaion.........that's why I"m confused....no Voltage source or anything....
