Had to go with BBQ Chicken since I've never heard of either person nor seen any movie listed.

Not sure. Close call.

They both make awesome, entertaining movies.

Kung Fu Hustle and Shaun of the Dead are equally funny.

Tough decision.

I'm surprised at the number of people that don't know them. Simon Pegg after all played Montgomery Scott in the most recent Star Trek movie, the guy is hilarious. Kung Fu Hustle was the first Bluray movie I purchased. Both are a dry kind of humor, so I wouldn't be surprised if not everyone likes them. But to not know them at all...

Too hard to choose, they're both awesome. I just recently had a hankering to watch some HK flicks and watched Fight Back to School and Shaolin Soccer. Chow is awesome. :D

Stephen Chow made many funny movies. But they are limited to Chinese audience due to cultural references.

Pegg's comedy is drier.

I like them both.

Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are all quite good if you like action comedy.

Chao's CJ7 is a pretty decent drama film too.

Pegg does have a couple "meh" movies like Run, Fatboy, Run and How to Lose Friends and Alienate People... although, I think the latter was by far better than the former.

Not really sure which I prefer though.

How to Lose Friends was awful, and while I wouldn't say RFR was great by any means, the former is just way too bad.

Pegg by a mile. Hot Fuzz>Shaun of the Dead>Spaced>all the rest

Seems like I'm in the minority, but I didn't think much of the other guy's movies. Kung Fu Hustle was Scary Movie level of bad satire in my opinion.

spaced had one of my favorite sitcom moments:
pegg's girlfriend is throwing a terrible party and plays "the time warp". pegg grabs his coat and reveals nick frost about to blow his brains out. COMEDY GOLD

Spaced had some awesome moments. I also loved the part where the artist is talking about how women get along, and he wishes guys could be like that, and then they start having the fake gunfight.

The comic book store parts were awesome as well, and how he couldn't get over Episode 1. There's a scene where he's berating someone and it turns out its like a 7 year old kid (which I think gets him fired, and then he goes to work for the other comic books store and then goes back to Bilbo after he pisses off the guy by making some snide comment about whatever he was into).

And the opening of the second season, when they spoof the Bruce Willis-John Travolta scene from Pulp Fiction.

I like how in the OP's pics, both Pegg and Chow have a slack-jawed fat sidekick.

Voted for Pegg, cause I've never heard of Chow or either of his movies, but I liked both of HF/SOFD.
