Hmmm?

I know its hard to compare them because they are so obviously different, but I have to.

Thanks,

Well, its with regards to society, and how it changed people so much. As well as just the similarities.

Well, the industrail revolution is over..

Its defined as the time between 1773-1878.

Not to say the industrial world isn't still growing..

Well, basically to compare them you'll have to know their driving forces, the events that led to their apex, what climatic event ended the revolution, etc. I'd define the timelines first then look for parrallels.

My guess is that you can find similar reasonings behind their financing by entreprenuers, the resources and how they eventually dried up, the effects they had on labor markets, etc. Plenty of easy ways to draw parrallels if you simply dig.

Both encouraged and helped mass consumption, made physical distance less of a barrier, created brand new fields, technologies, and jobs, etc., etc.
