any games for the pc out there that have the same feel as mario64 or zelda ocarina of time

I'm really looking for a zelda type game with the problem solving, mystery, quest, riddles and rpg style... kinda like nes or ocarina of time

looking for single player experience.

What are the best out there? I have no idea because i've been playing first person shooters for the last 10 years. Any good zelda-like games out there?

Will Portal count? haven't played it myself but from the sound of it, it seems pretty close.

The closest I could think of in comparison to Zelda (and I'm saying old school, like NES/SNES and the like) to the PC platform would be the dungeon crawlers like Diablo and Titan Quest . . ..

I'd say "spirit of gameplay-wise", I would think portal as well . . ..

Just look for console games that have been ported to the PC. There are very few native PC games that have the console adventure game feel.

Shadow Man

It's a little old (1999) but, in my opinion, it's the best third person adventure game on the PC that I've played (I haven't played a lot of such games on the PC though).

I think Mythos is the closest thing I've played to Zelda in quite a while.

If we're talking SNES era Zelda, Dink Smallwood is the PC equivalent. Fun game, a little short though.
