Nice review! The heat noise and power stuff certainly caught my eye. Am in the process of planning my next total upgrade and this really helps. Dual card solutions are not in my future, at least at this time. Now if you could do a full review of several H2O cooling solutions.........

Not bad. It's nice to see some flight sims put up to test instead of constant FPS titles.

Nice review. If you're fan of Sim games, this is the review for you.
A few things that could improve it a bit:

1. Fix the graphs becuase they show a x1800xl not a x1800xt.

2. Show percent variances on improvements and difference between setups. This'll give us an idea of how efficient crossfire is.

3. While it's important to let the consumer be aware of which titles do not have crossfire profiles (yet), you should put those on a list and focus your benchmarks on titles that do support it.

Thanks for the feedback. The games I tested with are pretty much my standard benchmark suite, which has been created in an effort to be reflective of what the site's readers are currently playing. So with that in mind I wouldn't change what or how I test since it tells the readers what value the hardware has to them.

Edit: And the site owner does the page layout and graphs, though I'm also guilty of not noticing the XL rather than XT when I proof read the article last night. :p

John,

Is there a list from Ati that tells which games have been profiled for crossfire or it's just a hope and pray deal?

If there is such a list available to the public, I haven't seen it.
