Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get Simcity Classic Cd, on a Win Xp Machine, to work??? I think it compaitable with Win 95, but it doesn't work in compatiable mode

WOW, that is old school. I still play Sim City 2000, that works fine on xp.

WOW, that is old school. I still play Sim City 2000, that works fine on xp.

yeah i just found a copy that i had installed many many years ago on an old old comp, and just wanted to try the game again

If you've already set to play in Win95 compatibility mode, I guess it would be safe to assume that it doesn't work.

Install VMware or Virtual PC with windows 98, and then install Sim City.

Pull up your command prompt, cd to the dir that it's in, and run the exe from there so you can see the error message.
I know Lemmings 2 won't run on anything except a FAT HDD.

My copy worked fine.

The version I had based the calender on your CPU speed though, so it was stupidly fast.
