Blah, those pics are tiny! 🙂 But it still looks sweet nonetheless! SC kicked ass, SC2K owned, SC3K kinda disappointed...so I hope they break that with a kickass SC4K 😀

I played the hell out of Simcity Classic on my 286 13mhz - it wasn't awesome - but it still rocked.

Then I played the hell out of Simcity on SNES - surprisingly, it was a hell of a lot better than Simcity Classic.

Then Simcity 2000 came out - right when I got a new $4500 Gateway 2k Pentium 100mhz system - that was the bomb.. Never been a better game..

Then Simcity 3000 came out - I played that a hell of a lot (though I always thought 2000 was a much bigger step than 3000)

Then Simcity 3000 unlimited came out - and I didn't notice the difference between this and the previous

Then I sat around waiting for a new Simcity - and it's been announced!!!! WEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
 
Yeah I loved SimCity 1 as well, kickass game. Loved 2k and I liked 3k but it didn't hold my attention span that long. Hopefully this will change it, and if its good we will see 10 different expansion packs 😉

I couldn't disagree more. There is no way in #$@% I'm going to buy a game, and then turn around and shell out money for 10 different expansion packs. My theory:
"If its good we will see all 10 different expansion packs in the original game you purchased".
 
That looks an awful lot like a 2d layout. I remember simcity 3000 was supposed to be 3d but they scrapped it because they didn't think computers at the time could handle it.
If it's not 3d this time, what is their excuse?
 
AFter lovnig the original and 2000, I hated 3000, so I'm gonna have to take a pass on this one. they don't make em like they used to.
 
Games dont need to be 3D.

I can already tell you their excuse.

"The Sims isnt 3D, and its the best selling PC Game of ALL TIME, Who needs 3D?"
