Simcity 4? Good?

Please do a search. There have been many posts in the appropriate forum (Software - Applications, Programming and Games) on Sim City 4.
 
It's fun, albeit slow. It runs okay at first, but gets real chunky as the city gets larger. I'm guessing it's very processor bound as I'm running a 9700 Pro at 800x600.
 
Its harder than hell! But then again I haven't been playing it much. I was impressed with it over-all I've just lost the patience for it. If you enjoyed the other ones and want a new challenge, I would check it out.
