SimCity 3000: my mouse keeps flickering...how do you stop this?

My mouse continuously flickers...and sometimes just plain disappears (thre cursor that is)...how do you fix this?!?!! It's making building my city VERY hard...i mean, how can you blow up old parts of town when you cant tell what you're about to destroy? hehe

If you can't find an answer here, you should consider posting in either the Technical Support or Software Forum.

As for how to fix it, is there a patch maybe?

lol...i didnt even realize we had a software forum here...jeez lol

buut...restarting, rebooting, etc doesnt really help...tho if I alt-tab out of the game, then go back in, the problem improves somewhat...buut still troublesome.

I havent checked for patches in a while...ill go give maxis a look-see
