SIMAP for June 2012 is underway!

All 29 cores I have going full speed.
The weather is starting to get warm, so this will be my last simap contribution until fall.

biodoc, nice to see you in the top 20 participants right now.
For some reason my fx machine sits there with a bunch of wu's ready to report and waits until I update. The settings are the exact same as my other machines.
So, right now I have 260 pending validation.

Sometimes boinc seems to have a mind of it's own! 🙂

How's your FX doing on this project? AMD processors seem to do quite well on this project.

If you're running v7.0.xx, remember that the cache-settings has been changed from earlier clients. BOINC won't re-fill with more work until cached work drops below "Minimum Work Buffer" (the old "Connected..."), so depending on your "Additional..." setting and how much work you got past the "Minimum..." it can take many hours before BOINC needs to ask for more work again...

I can't find the cache location. Anyone help?
And it seems the 2 machines where I did update to the latest boinc have long queues of "ready to report" wu's. Any idea why that is? They disappear and new wu's get downloaded when I update the project.

I scaled back the OC by 200mhz (3.826 now). Last two races it was a top 40 host. This race, not so much because of all of the pending WU's. I'll check on Friday afternoon to see how it is.

the minimum work buffer and max additional work buffer are what you want to edit. Any time it falls below min it will call for more wu's.

Are we paying any attention to BOINC Formula this year?

Take a look: http://formula-boinc.org/projets.py?lang=en&prj=48&year=2012

Two teams close to taking the point away 🙁

Is it possible to over take the two teams above us? 🙂

We're making some progress! 🙂

Note: I can't seem to eliminate that space between the 6 and 2 in our May credit score. 😱

The FX machine is starting to pull ahead now. Still have 230+ WU's waiting for validation and am at the #58 host so far. I see one of your i7's is at #54 with about the same number pending.

Nice to see the 3930K of yours doing so well. #7 host for the project right now. Impressive!!
