SIMAP finished distributing January 2010-batch.

The current workunits calculate the similarities and domains of approx. 100.000 new sequences from public databases imported in December 2009. After these calculations are finished, next workunits are expected on February 1st.

There's currently 142617 wu's this month, with 2 task/wu this means a total of 285234 tasks this month. Of the wu's, over 67% (95k) has already been sent-out, meaning less than 100k tasks to go.

So, chances are they'll run-out of work within 12 hours, so if you wants something, grab it ASAP.


edit - it seems it only took roughly 25 hours to distribute everything this month...
So, nothing more expected before February.
