i heard from one of my friends that you could do this but he didnt kow how. i want to get an AMD64 system. i know that the only good OS out there for that is linex but that doesnt run games. so what i want to do is run linex for the 64 part of it and then run XP for the games part of it. i would also be using two monitors. is there any way i can do this or is my friend full of crap?

Simultaneous dual booting... not that I know off. At least not in any consumer level stuff. There are software, that lets you run multiple OS simultaneously from within an OS. But again, there will be SERIOUS penalty in performance in doing so. That is unless you're running at least dual processor system with lots of RAM etc...

Not exactly dual-booting, but VMWare and MS Virtual PC might be the kind of thing you're really looking for.
