Sima products for vhs transfer

I have some vhs tapes I want to burn to dvd. However, the tapes were recorded on different units down through the years, and the majority of them exhibit jitters, fish tailing, etc. when I play them back with my current vcr, and I've experimented with capturing with my pc, and of course the playback exhibits the same chacterisics as seen on the tv. I've come to the conclusion I need some kind of video stablizer or time base corrector. Sima has a couple of items that look as if they will do the job. The Sima GoDVD, and the Sima Color Corrector SCC2. Anyone have any experience with these or have any other recommendations?
