Question Sim Query for International Trip!

Hey everyone,
I am going on a Europe trip and it's the first time I am travelling internationally. But I am a bit worried about the internet connectivity and high data roaming charges. Suggest me some good data options that will be suitable for Apple- iPhone 13.
 
I thought carrier locks go away when you are abroad? OP can just pick up a pay as you go sim in EU.

It probably depends on the carrier, the contract, and how the phone was purchased. Given the OP hasn't seemed to come back to this thread tough, it seems very much like a theoretical discussion though.

I tried eSIMs for the first time and it was pretty great. Ver y easy installation and no hassle of finding local sim cards. I tried Holiday eSIM. Give it a try for your next trip.
