sim city 2k in XP

has anyone gotten sc2k working in xp? i get a win16 subsystem error when i try to install.

the classic runs well in xp, havnt tried 2k on mine

im assuming you already tried running the executable in compatability mode for win95?

I've run it before, but running it natively is a pain for a few reasons. DosBox is probably the best solution.

yes i have. this is the win 95 version, not the Dos version, so vdms and dosbox are no help. the specific error I get is "win 16 subsystem has insufficient resources. restart your computer and try again"

argh i wanna build...
