I can't get to the linky at work (oh my GAME in the URL) but www.gameve.com has the Silverstonetek GD98-LED for $29 + shipping.

Nice little case that gets good reviews, full of ventilation and fans, an exception for such a small beast.

Cheapest price elsewhere is $65 + shipping

Wait, just got the link via google:

$12.00 flat fee shipping.

240 watt power supply (actually pretty good for microATX).

Anyone know what "CPU fan dock for Intel P4 heat dissipation" is talking about?

I'd buy it in a second if I could find a good mATX Athlon64 board.

I don't want any of the first gen Athlon64 Chipsets (nForce3 150, K8T800, or any SiS).

I actually liked my A64 MATX GIGA-BYTE board I think it was the VIA chipset. I just wanted to go back to a shuttle and got a P4.

Not a bad price on that case for a second system or Basic HTPC.

If you look the system up on www.sundialmicro.com you can see a picture. Basicaly there is a "duct" over the CPU that ducts the airflow for the CPU to a rectangular blow hole on the top of the case. Looks like a nice design, don't know how it will work in practice.....

Fedex guy just walked up with the case.

It shipped directly from silverstonetek in ontaria california. So far I'm very impressed, trying to resit ordering a second as they are still $29.

Still need to put my system together.

Looking at the case though, I do have one issue. There seems to be almost no cooling for the two hard drives?

They are in their own separate compartment, with only a cable pass through to the main case. No vents, no fan no nothing.

If I use it in a tower config, I may need to put in just one hard drive and use the space of the second for some sort of ventilation (blowhole?)

And another slight negative: Not a standard SFX psu. So if it ever needs to be replaced/upgarded you will have a problem.

This is nice, sturdy, compact case, although it's still pretty heavy for it's size. Newegg has tons of refurb mAtx boards for around $40 or less - makes for a nice spare PC or evan a main PC if you need a smaller footprint.

I purchased this case the other day and received it recently. I'm not sure if you guys received the GD98-LED originally, but now that page links to the GD98-EC2 so the OP might want to update the title. I talked to the guy who took care of selling all their remaning stock of these cases to GameVE and he told me that there are 2 different models, the LED, and EC2. EC2 is the cheaper version due to customers saying they didn't need certain parts: the cpu plastic piece, case stands, and the badging (doesn't say silverstone nor has anything that lights up). According to him, the case has been discontinued. This isn't a big deal, but just wanted some peeps who wanted a well made matx case to know that you will be missing a few items and it's normal. On a side note, GameVE has excellent CS and the lady went to extra mile to try to send me the missing parts, but alas they didn't have any since they no longer (maybe never did?) stock the LED.

Wow, looks like a nice case. I just picked up an mATX/Duron 1.6GHz combo for $40.. this should go nicely with it. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with uATX PSUs, but it definitely doesn't use a standard.
