I think the airflow patterns are messed up in that case (versions of that chasis are sold by many: enermax, Aerocool, Termaltake, etc. And your choices of CPU cooling are limited if you want to use the wind tunne.

Cheers bud, sure I can source some here somewhere.......? I liked the P180, but its twice the price of the SST-TJ06......

As for the cooling, the reviews ranked the cooling better than the Lian Li V1000, and I only have retail HSF anyway, should be good to go!

The thread titles are editable on the AT Forums unlike some others...

I have this case & love it. I'm using the Enermax Liberty 500 & the cables work fine. They're long enough to do everything I need them to.

I haven't run into any cooling problems, or any other problems, for that matter. I'm sure you'll enjoy the quality & craftsmanship of this case.

Hi djnsmith, just about finished the transfer to the new case, just waiting on my psu repair, its only TT460, but enough for now. I have an old PSU which I have taken the laeds from & my just solder together, or its might be long enough to go straight down in front of the mobo. I got the black case with window and was a bit disappointed that the inside looked primer!, so ended up spraying black. looks good

Inside
No Tunnel
Outside

Oh, and my thanks to Talcite for the ideas for cable management. 1st time case with window, so thought I better have a go at it.

I'm running the stock cooler right now, but there's more than enough room for my CNPS9500 AM2 to fit. I just haven't installed it yet. I'm not using the wind tunnel because I don't like it & I don't need it.

Hey Sol, great job on the cable management. Looks great! Here's a place that stocks the other window if you decide to get it. I'm still thinking about it.

Clear Window for Black TJ06

Which product did you wrap your cables with?

Hi, djnsmith, dont think I'll go with the 2nd window for the other side, as thats where i'm hiding all the wiring!!

Used that spiral wrap for Talcites thread for the cable consolidation & cable ties to attach to chassis

Wow, that's really nice cable management. Take more pics when the final rig is up with the PSU and everything else :)

Also, does your TJ-06 come with the hole on the motherboard plate for routing wires? I noticed some of them do(presumably newer versions?) but the pics on Silverstone's website doesn't.

Hi Goi, do you mean the big square before the IDE holes?. Mine says revision A, so this its the 1st design. It hasn't the big square hole unfortunately, however have got away with hiding the wiring elsewhere. I did expect the hole to be there though as the pic's I saw of it did! Maybe the models you have over there has the hole?!

I have hookes up extra lenght ATX power leads to connect the PSU too around the back, but looking at it now, I may be able to bring it straight down the edge of the mobo, we'll see.

Yes I do mean the big square hole. I would imagine it would be easier to route cables through the back of the case with that hole there. Without it you would probably have to have a PSU with longer cables?

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your completed rig :)

Nice job, bro!

LOL run for the hills!! j/p :D

Anyhow yes definitely nice cable job. I see you took my advice on routing the cables behind the MOBO. Thats how i did it originally on my armor build, but then had to modify it when i dropped in a new PSU.

But seriously, dayam nice cable work, it feels good to see something come out the way you wanted if not better huh?
