This is the case I picked for my HTPC a couple years ago, the build quality on mine was excellent and I found it pretty easy to work with. Depending on the HSF you pick you may have a hard time securing it due to space restrictions (even if it fits in the case its hard getting your fingers in some spots) however and on mine the case 'sheath' can be a little difficult to get off. I'm really happy with it though, the wiring turned out cleanly and it looks great.

I have this case for my HTPC. It's a great case and fits in well the rest of my entertainment system. It's about the exact same dimensions as my home theater receiver. Only annoyance which can be creatively remedied is the flashing blue lights on the case for hard drive activity. That with the flashing blue light on my installed bluray player was too much for me to deal with so i had to use some black tape.
$70 shipped is a good deal.

I have the GD04B, and I just didn't install any of the LED motherboard connections. Voila! No annoying blue lights 🙂

Looks like you can still order it: "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available"

I know it's more expensive, but IMO the GD04B looks much better. You don't see the optical drive in your case, you just see the nice brushed metal cover. I paid $79 for it last October, so the price might drop if you keep an eye on it. I think the only difference between the two cases is the optical-drive cover on the GD04.

BTW, with either case, the fans are silent from > 1 foot if you 7-volt them. I say that because AT's review of the GD04 knocked it for being loud, but SPCR gave it high praise after they 7-volted the fans. If you don't know how to run fans at 7 volts, see this guide. The case comes with a one-to-three molex connector, so you can 7-volt all three fans with a quick switch of one molex cable.
