I know the length isn't going to be an issue, it's the height that I'm worried about. Seems that most full size passively cooled cards have heatpipes that protrude above the PCI bracket.

Well my point was that 11 inch long graphics cards are not going to be low profile, so any full size GPU should fit.

With regard to the heat pipes, I wouldn't worry. Judging by eye, it should fit:

it should fit. i've used similar parts together (lc-17, 20 and xfx 7950gt) before, and the silverstone cases with 80mm fans above the rear connectors allow for heatpipes to wrap over the top of the card. the xfx even had some fins on the top edge, but it still (barely) cleared it.
