Silverstone FP52 fan controller question

Hi,

I just got this controller. i have a query, is it posible to connect teh CPU and case fans to both the MB and the controller for monitoring or I have to do as the instructions say and only connect them to the controller? With this system i will not be able to make best use of the MB software like AI PROBE etc.

Not sure about this model, but an Enermax model that I have came with splitter cables designed to do this -- connect one side to the power, another to the device, and another to the MB for speed monitoring. There's nothing that's controller-specific about this cable -- if you can find or make one, it should do the job.

You'll likely have to modify some fan extension cables to do that. You'll need to rig it so the speed sensor wire from your fan (usually yellow) goes to both a mobo connector and to the Eudemon connector. If you scour places like www.svc.com, www.jab-tech.com, www.computergate.com, etc. you may find a splitter type cable.
