Silverstone, Corsair or OCZ?

I would go with the Corsair. The Silverstone is a qualtiy unit but its only a Dual rail unit with each rail rated at 18A. The OCZ is nice with its quad rails but im sceptical about its total power output on the +12v rails. The exstra ripple on the +12v rails tends to worry me a bit as well. In general it not a problem and is within tolerance.

40A total continuous output on the Corsair makes it a winner to me. Plus I have the HX620 so naturally I'd root for what I already have that serves me well 😉

yes as much as I hate to admit it this time--- Corsair makes an awesome product by almost anybodys standards!!

Peace!!

If you are going to buy the Corsair, drop me a PM, I have a slightly used one sitting here I could give you a deal on.

also consider PCP&C. Silencer 700W+ etc. are pretty much top of the line material. But out of the three you mentioned I'd definitely get corsair!

personally I make it a habit to stay away from most antec PSU`s unless they are the newer models!!

Yet JonnyGURU gave the earthwatt 500 a solid 9 out of a possible 10 score!!

Go for it!! 😀
