See signature. I have one exhausting my Centurion 5, and it is SILENT at 1500 RPM or less. At maximum, it's definitely got sound, but it pulls a ton of air, and it's a great fan. The newegg ratings are accurate for noise levels.

I doubt you'll ever need to crank up to 3000RPM - most non-controlled 120mm run between 1300 and 2000RPM, and pull between 40 and 60 CFM. At 1500 this thing should do 50-55CFM.

It will last quite long - it's dual ball bearing, so no worries there.

I also have an 80x80x32mm fan doing Intake for my Centurion 5. At max RPM it's quite loud - emits a buzz, but again, at half or lower, it's silent. And of course, since it's 32mm in depth, it moves more air then your standard 80mm fans.

I say go for 'em. I took a chance on mine based on the specs, and I love 'em. Silverstone generally makes very good stuff.
