That is an awesome score, congratulations!
I just took the GMAT and got a wimpy 630. I am going to use the excuse that I have been out of school for 9 years and I kinda forgot how to study and pace myself for a test; I had to guess on the last 4 quant questions which is roughly 10% of that portion. So I suppose for taking a test for the first time in 9 years I did alright. I did get a perfect 6.0 on the writing section - I suppose that means I kick ass at bullshitting. Anyhow I am applying for a lot of these last minute competitive deadlines so I am not sure how competitive my overall application is going to be (GPA is the suck) so I may retake the GMAT and apply next year if it doesn't work out this year.
