they aren't anything special really...their last (neon ballroom) album is the softest and best though.

Silverchair rocks, older stuff I like a little better.. A few songs I can think of... Pure Massacre, Learn to Hate, Abuse Me, Suicidal Dream, Cicada, and Freak.

lyrically, yes its kinda weak compare to Tool/Metallica/Soundgarden and some others in the hard rock/metal genre but still the album rocks. also take into consideration that they wrote this between the age of 15-18

much better than than Eminem insults & POP star love songs
