I got a free 6.5g of this from Circuitworks. Is this alright to used. Hell i hate to just throw it a way. I got just about every other kind of heatsink grease that made. So it free so should i used it.

Thanks,,

Just be very very extremely careful. It conducts as well as bare copper wire, so you want it ONLY on the CPU slug. Anywhere else and its time for some new hardware...

2cool, what about the Arctic Silver that you sell. Is it the same way or is it different.

I have a P3 600E@800.

With a stock fan and thermal grease I ran SETI(no graphics is more processor intensive) at 65C.

I switched to a Gorb and artic silver from 2cooltek and am now running SETI at 55C.

This is pretty good for now.
When the ArtiCooler comes out, I will try that.

Also, I am going to put a HS on the clock chip for my Asus P3V4X.
Before, I could not OC much past 810. But with my friends GlobalWin I had gotten up to 830. Time to see what is possible now.

Then on to cooling my GeForce.
