Silver and Gold predictions

Okay three years ago I invested $1500 in silver at www.kitco.com when it was about $5.80/ounce.

Now it's over $15/ounce, which WOULD give me a sweet profit, except I took it out last year because I had to pay for my car.

So, now that I'm getting over the massive frustration that has ensued, I'm looking to invest in silver again.

What are your predictions for the coming year(s)?

Metals tend to go on 30 year cycles. If you invest in them, be prepared to keep your money there for at least 30 years. If you do, you'll make tons of money. If you sell early (like you did), you might lose tons of money.

Keeping that in mind, predictions over the next year are not critical to your metal purchasing decision.

Gold in 8 months has gone up like 60% or more.

makes sense, price is at all time record and you want to buy

you know what they say, buy high and sell low

Yeah, I was heavy into gold and silver starting in 2002 but sold in 2004 as the recession was ending because I didn't see any reason to hold anymore. I'm kicking myself now.

The fundamentals of gold are good with a dollar devaluation over the horizon but it's hard to tell when that will actually go down and how long it will take. If it takes a long time, I think you will have better entry points than now. Personally, I don't see the devaluation seriously starting until after the election in November. The market is so hot right now but chasing a hot market is often a bad idea.

I suggest breeding tons of werewolves around the time you purchase the stock. Raise them as your own and then, when they're ready...release them for pure profitibility.

Yes, so to buy it now, and to expect to still get another substantial gain, you'll likely have to wait ~30 years. Buy low, sell high. He wants to buy high and sell higher. That'll take time.
