Someone posted a similar thread before, but i wanted to add a poll. I'm looking for the best silver colored monitor for around $200. I'm probably going to buy it from Best Buy so I don't have to pay for shipping. I want at least or close to a 75Hz refresh rate at 1600x1200 and aperture grille, but its not that important, i just want something that performs well in games and is good quality.
I heard the 997df and a90f are shadow mask, the a91f is aperture grille; can someone confirm this? Also, i think A91f/a90f have 68Hz at 1600x1200 and the 997df can do 75Hz at 1600x1200, can someone confirm this too? The Samsung has .20mm horiz. dot pitch, the viewsonics have .21; they're so close that its not really important.
Either way, i can get all three for $200 at Best Buy, the A91f is $250 w/$50 rebate. Please vote for one of these monitors and tell why, if you want. Also, please tell me some of your experiences with these monitors.
