Silly question --->Once I o/c my Radeon 32 DDR LE with PS, do I have to reload PS to get the higher speeds after reboot?

I haven't ever really overclocked a video card before, but the Radeon seems like a pretty forgiving first attempt at it. I know it doesn't really add that much in terms of performance...

I just got powerstrip and registered it. Do I have to keep it in my system tray or load it prior to running games to get the card to run at the higher speeds, or are the settings permanent?

Thanks for any help!

What ver Powerstrip? In 2.78, you can do this. Make a text file with this in it:

c:\windows\pstrip.exe /clk 166 166 /exit

Save it as PS166.bat. Put a shortcut to it in your startup folder. Right click on that shortcut and choose properties. Under the program tab pick run minimized and close on exit.

When you boot, the clock will be set and you wont even see Powerstrip. All you will see is a refresh of your desktop when it runs.
