I use IE 6.0, patched up to date completely...I hope;)

Anyways.....When I right click a link, and "Open in New Window", that window opens to my default size. No biggie, but the default size right now is almost full screen. I would like to change that:)

I remember in the past, you would hold the shift key while closing the window. Does that still work? I tried it, but it did not. Is there a reg hack to change this setting?

Help!

Thanks guys!

IE just remembers the size of the last window that you closed.

EDIT: Oh, when you open new window, it just uses the size of the window that you are using.

1stly,

TY for the reply:)

2ndly,

The main window from where I am right-clicking a link, is maximized. Even when it is not maximized, and I crop it to another size, it still remembers to open it almost fully maximized (this happens to be the window size I am trying to avoid). All my windows do this (even when I start XP, and open an IE session, i.e, the 1st IE window).

I would like to have it remember to open up like in half of the window. You know, so I can see what may be behind that particular window!

Any other ideas peeps?

First of all, I'll start by saying sorry, I don't have a solution to your problem.

I would like all windows to open in full screen mode, but they always open in that "almost" full screen mode. It's rather annoying when I go to click the X at the top right, and have it close the window behind it instead if the window I'm currently viewing is not "true" full screen.

There has to be a fix!!

That is exactly what I am talking about:(

The "almost full screen mode"....arrrghhhh!

Anyway.....there has to be something!

At work (where I currently am), right-clicking opens windows to the same size as the parent window. But, what about new windows fromthe IE button?

Isn't that the truth. I hate it.
