Silly but, how do I get into my laptops Bios?

Its a Toshiba 650CT. I tryed F10 F8 DElETE. I tryed tapping holding ect.... I just cant figure it out. help this laptop newbie.

Each laptop is different. I have one that is like Award and AMI . . . you hit DEL during the POST. A new Gateway requires F2. It usually tells you on screen what to hit at the POST. I don't know about Toshiba, but I would first check the manual and then the web site and maybe do the manual as a PDF file.

Have you tried pressing Delete while the memory is counting? If you have tried that already, try ctrl-alt-esc. That used to work on some of the really wierd bioses back in the old days

Try to keep pushing Escape until it says something like Check System...then press F1 to Continue into the bios.

I believe it's f11 or esc a few times, those toshiba are a little different..

On my Dell Latitude I have to press function+F1. I can do it at any time, even when in Windows.
