What is this? what does it do? Why would that be listed 2 timed in the startup?

this has to do with I believe scanners and digital cameras...after I installed my scanner this showed up..you can disable with no problems
 
Nikki, do you have an HP scanner? This program was installed by my HP scanning software and is just used for its special scanning program. You don't need two instances of it your startup options and you can just use MSCONFIG (I'm assuming this is Win98) and uncheck one of its appearances out of the "Startup" tab. But as my experience goes, this program doesn't really cause a significant hit on system resources. If you have anymore questions, fell free to ask them.

Thanks, that would be it just got a HP scanner last month. I dont really need to get rid of it I've just been wondering what it was for a couple weeks. I installed a few pieces of hardware all at once then some software and didn't check the config to see what had been added. Just lazy i guess.

Thanks again now it wont be annoying me
