Silicon Sil 3112 SATA Chip... need help

So anyways, I had a Gigabyte GA-7NNXP Board that recently blew on me, and while I would LOVE to wait for an RMA, I need to get the information of the drives in the raid ASAP (sooner then the 2 weeks it takes for an RMA)

so, I've been looking at the chip on the mobo and it goes as follows.

SiliconImage
SATALink
Sil3112ACT144
023828.1
1.21

Now, how close to this would an IDE SATA controller with a silicon 3112 chip have to be? I find them by the 4thn line seems to be different all the time, and I need to make sure I don't get a Sil3112A chip.

The only problem I'm having is that I've never done this before and I don't want to spend 20$, wait 3 days, and become dismayed. Can anyone help?

The integrated chip and the one for the PCI card are different as one has to interface the PCI bus and the other doesn't. There should be no functional difference in the way an array is configured.
