SilenX PSU's - I can't find any reviews

Looking at the 650watt one but I can't find a single review of it, or any of the other models. I know that's a horrible sign. But I'm intrigued by how the modular cables are and I do like their fans. I'm thinking maybe they're fairly new and reviews haven't begun to trickle down yet.

Here ya go!

Our sample SilenX Luxurae 460 failed to qualify as a good PSU in any way. It still powers up on the PSU tester, but we will not risk any other components to see if it can actually run a PC.

It's possible that this 460 is a bad sample... and we happen to have also obtained an identical-looking 400W SilenX Luxurae. Without going into details, we can report that the 400W sample performed pretty much the same, that is to say, poorly, with less electronic noise that was still obviously audible from a couple meters away. It, too, was unacceptable for the same reasons as the 460W Luxurae.

That power supply was beyond horrible. Basically SilenX takes some crappy PSU platform, pretty it up with some "quiet" features and then sells it for a huge price by marketing it as the "quietest actively cooled PSU." Obviously they haven't heard of SeaSonic.

Avoid SilenX. Besides the PSUs, they claim their fans to be quieter than they are, plus the company has been caught pimping their products pretending to be happy customers. See this thread where it was proven that someone using the same IP address had created multiple accounts (with users claiming to be from different places) for the sole purpose of replying to each other pimping SilenX products.
