have anyone tried the silenx ixtrema 92mm copper cpu cooler?

http://www.3dcool.com/Details.asp?cid=24&id=1128

since everyone says silenx makes the most quiet fan, i was wondering if this is any good?

another question: are these the right fan to get for the heatsink xp-90? and what is the base dimension of the xp-90? websites say 110 x 125 x 63mm (LxWxH) but i'm guessing thats the top part of the heatsink?

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 80 x 80 x 25mm SuperFlo Cooling Fan

if the cooler master works then i'll buy that since its half the price of the silenx.

strange, i tried the link and it works. one more thing what is the base of the xp-90? website says 110 x 125 x 63mm (LxWxH) but is that the base or the top part of the heatsink?

The links worked for me.

Anyway, that heatsink looks remarkably like the Zalman 7000Cu....

Also, while most people here agree that silenX makes quiet fans, they also seem to think that the specs are also exaggerated. But others reckon the specs are right...

Those two fans you've listed are 80mm's. One of the good features about the XP-90 is that it can accept a 90/92mm fan. While this doesn't seem much larger, a 90mm fan can move almost 25% more air per revolution, so it makes less noise when moving the same amount of air.

And I know I wont be the first to say this, but think about getting a Panaflo. While I haven't used them myself (yet), I'm about to order a Panaflo 120mm case fan. While them may be a little louder than silenX, them move a heap more air. A 92mm Low speed Panaflo moves 43CFM @ 27dBA, and you know that those specs arent exagggerated. Otherwise, a 92mm SilenX would be better than an 80mm.

Why do you want to know the base dimensions of the XP-90? Its about the same size as the top of a CPU.

because my zalman 7000 barely fit on my mobo. its scraping against those capacitor thing. and the zalman is only 109x109x62 and the xp-90 is at 110x125x63 but it looks like its high enough to go over it without rubbing against anything on my mobo.
