What are some good cheap keyboard and mouse peripherals that don't make much noise. They need to be CHEAP.

I just want something that doesn't make a noise every time I do something. Mousew heel and mouse buttons are starting to drive me nuts. And the keyboard .... obvious what the issue there is. The keys!

Any generic WalMart brand $5 keyboard is generally pretty quiet. Or you can hope to get lucky and search some office supply stores for "ergonomic" office keyboards.

As for mice, I don't believe you will find many that don't make a sound. Though I am curious why you are in need of silent peripherals.

The audible click that a mouse makes is actually a feature built into the mouse. You can actually modify many mice to remove the mechanism that makes the click, or pad them to not be as loud. However, mice that don't make the click sound do exist. Many gamer channels on Youtube and Twitch use them so the click isn't picked up by their mic. I can't recommend any though, since I don't own one, but did some quick searching for you.

Also found this little guy which is pretty cheap:

Be warned though, without the audible feedback that you're clicking, it feel like you're using a broken mouse. You're never quite sure if it clicked. Unless of course it has tactile feedback.
