silent hill 4

i won SH2 for PS2 but only played for like an hour. couldn't handle the odd controls. are they any better in this one or 3?
 
i got the PC version... i wish i have a game console 🙁 but that would interrupt with my school work... (not suppose to play games on my comp anyways)

Well I just picked up the pc version and like parts 2 and 3 I use a dual analog pad (Saitek P880) and stick with default controls which are identical the console controls. So the controls are equal. Now I never tried the game with keyboard/mouse so maybe someone can chime in on that.

The silent hill games always had crappy control though.. slow movement, poor combat..blah blah. Its the wonderfully creepy and disturbing atmosphere and settings that makes the series worth playing.

 
I "got" a copy of this for the xbox the other day but haven't tried it yet, will have to check it out tonight.
 
I prefer the console versions. Have played all of the silent hill games.....I luv the freaky atmosphere and strange stuff that goes on.

I am about halfway through the PS2 version of the room.......it is pretty creepy....gotta luv it.

I just wish they would go forward on everything instead of backward, meaning stuff like taking away inventory slots and all. Also I wish the character development went even further. Control could be tweaked more also.

Anyway, I am having fun with it.
