silent fan suggestion

Can you guys give me any suggestions?

I am trying to find a case fan that is about 19dba or lower, give airflow more than 40 cfm or higher and size is 90-92mm.

I have search many silent fan, most of them are about 20-25 cfm. I have read over a website that it gives higher than these but I lost that website.

Nexus, and Acoustifan are also very nice.

Although for 92mm, while i swear by Panaflos they are not as good as the 80mms. I would highly recommend the Nexus for this.

holycpu, if you saw a claim of >40cfm with <19dB the claims were greatly exagerated.

You have to decide between quiet or powerful.
A Panaflo 92mm M1A will give you 48CFM @ 30dB or an L1A will give you 42 CFM @ 27dB.

SilenX 92mm - 92mm/14dBA/36CFM

These are the manufacturer quoted specs. I'm not sure how accurate they really are, but both are brand names. Read some reviews if you're interested.

Also, most people seem to think that Panaflos are good.

Both spec their fans WAY off. 14dba... you would probably get more noise from a network transfer.

As for Tt their specs are ALWAYS off.

Head over to SilentPCReview.com ... check their recommended fans; those are simply the best of the best.

If i were an a$$, i would recommend to you my broken fan that doesnt spin. As this fan is silent.

For quiet fans,
Panaflo L1A for 80mm and 92mm, Yateloon D12SL for 120mm

Get a fan controller so that you have cooling/noise control.
