Silencing the Shuttle PSU

I believe there's no way to silence the Shuttle PSU by using 2x 40mm fans. I'd like to use a single 40x40x20mm, 5.9cfm (powerful, fat) fan and remove the rear exhaust fan of the PSU. Do you for foresee any problems?

The original Shuttle PSU fans are 40x40x10mm, bigger ones won't fit the PSU. Papst 40x40x20mm fan specs. Thanks 🙂

You had better find out how much CFM the current fan has because you don't want to be cutting a SFF PSU short on cooling.
