Silencing the Lian-Li v1100

Hi I recently got myself a Lian-Li V1100B, hoping for an ally in my war against noise. The Lian-Li was to relieve my modded chieftech dragon which ran very silent, except for my 5HD's which sent tremors through the hardwood floor of the appartment.

Initially I was quite disapointed with the soundlevel of the V1100 its ADDA 1500Rpm fans hummed pretty loudly, making it noisier than my ol' Chieftech, but temperature levels where satisfactory and the HD nolonger sent tremors through the whole case.
Today I have added 1000Rpm HQ ADDA fans instead, which has reduced the noiselevels drasticly only marginally raising the temp within the case (highly recommended).

But I want more!!! I have considered that there is a slight flaw with the V1100s airflow, it can only draw air from the top back of the cabinet, leaving the whole front without any intake. I have considered drilling an new 120mm slot in the topfront of the case so that cooler air away from the wall can be blown into the case.
With a new 120mm fan I could turn down the Rpm's even more i should think.

I am no rich man and modding the V1100 gives me the shivers but still...

Have any of you ideas and/or experience. All advice will be welcome.

Thanks

Not sure if this would help, but what if you taped over the holes in teh case next to the expansion bay covers? This would force that 120exhaust to pull through the front vent holes right?
