I have a 9800 Pro 128MB with an R360 Core...its overclocking reasonably well and I figured I'd flash it and see what happens when I put on a better cooler.

Anyways this site:
http://www.bigfootcomputers.co...arch=arctic%20silencer

Has various renditions of the Arctic Cooling Silencer things, but I'm not sure whether I should get the ATI Silencer 1 or ATI Silencer 3...the former says 9800+sinks, the latter says 9800XT/9800 Pro 256MB. None of them acutally say 9800Pro 128, and the fact that my card is a 9800XT in disguise complicates things even further.

I emailed the store, they said to email arctic cooling which hasn't turned out anything useful.

Which one is the right one?

Get that VGA Silvncer 1, the black one. I have the revision 3, and it works just fine, but I believe that the other one you referred to has RAM coverage, which I don't need for my card, but if you're flashing to an XT you may want that. Happy Holidays!

Thanks ^^

When you say revision 3 do you mean the old-school one, or hte acutal ATI Silencer 3 on the site?

I believe he's still referring to VGA Silencer Rev 3, not the ATI brand.
