I have a Socket 370 board with a DFP out and a Sil154 Digital Flat Panel Interface chip - I have the data sheet for the Sil154 - can I hook a laptop TFT (the kind that are 10-12" and readily available for cheap) directly to this chip? I seem to recall that I can - any thoughts, advice or experience would be appreciated. I have checked out some data sheets for some diaplays and its not too clear to me. Thanks.
On a related note - is there any way to such a panel to the DFP pins? I seem to recall something about a demultiplexer being an intermediary - any thoughts?
