I'd really like to listen to this, but too bad I'm on dialup 🙁 Sigur Ros makes some interesting guitar sounds with a violin bow, but I've never heard them using an EBow

They are on an American tour right now, although I think most of the shows are sold out. I wanted to see them but am out of town when they are playing... I have only heard good things about them though.

i've had an ebow for years. i rarely use it for anything important, but it is extremely useful at creating ambient or background "string" arrangements. it really comes into its own when you layer like 10 tracks at different octaves and harmonies. suddenly it gets really awesome sounding.
