Sigs not updating

Hello, Powers That Be.

For the past 5 days or so, I've been trying to update my signature. It allows me to do so, allows me to "save" etc.

But the actual sig does not update. 😕

Unlike past probs w/the "You sig is too long" error message, this isn't like that. The changes just don't save.

This is admittedly a very minor prob w/the forums, but one that I feel should be brought to your attention.

My wife has weird problems with her FireFox browser when updating her profile but it works ok on mine.

Have you tried using a different browser like IE, FireFox or Opera?

I had the same problem, and I found (thanks to Brutuskend) that disabling Norton Internet Security let me update my sig. Maybe your problem is something similar. :beer:

I don't see how Norton could possibly effect updating your sig... 😕

Thanks guys. I do have Symantec Client Firewall installed. Let me try disabling it, then updating my sig...never thought of that.

It worked! 95SS had the answer. 🙂 Thanks!!!! I don't understand why/how Symantec Firewall was causing the prob though. *shrug* It's fixed, who cares? 😀 I'll mark this thread as answered by 95SS. :beer:
