Signup for Verizon Motorola Bionic info! At last a SCRAP of official info!

im waiting to see how great this thing might be and upgrade from my DX.

if doesnt knock my socks off i might wait for next iphone details before upgrading. DX still a great phone to me.

I like how the signup doesn't have your mobile number as a required field, but when you click signup it won't go through and gives you a message phone number must be ten digits...

This Is My Next podcast was saying this is a pointless release of a phone, it would be the 3rd or 4th phone that Moto has out that is pretty much the same

I don't know how they can say that. It is going to be the first dual core next gen era phone with LTE support, that's kind of huge. Right now on the market people can choose a next gen phone that uses 3G or Wimax at best or they can choose a last gen phone that uses LTE. The Bionic will let them have both.

Makes you wonder what they will say about the iPhone 5 then...

Take HTC. The EVO 4G is almost the Thunderbolt is almost the Sensation. The Shift is the EVO with a keyboard. The Galaxy S line is 4 phones the same with different shells and 1 with a keyboard. Same thing might happen with the GS2 line.

I never understand the 'same phone' arguments when manufactures release different phones. If manufactures make different models they all cant be totally different. And if everyone took the Apple route, then of course each phone has a chance to be totally different than the last.

It was either the timnp or the engadget podcast, I will have to go chck to make sure but I am pretty sure they were talking about the bionic

August the 4th still gets in time before the iPhone 5...

We are down to the SGS2 as the only mid-year superphone without a release date (dammit).

New:

Dual core
4g
4.5 inch screen
Front facing camera...
1950 mAh battery
Possible 1GB of RAM

How many more new things do they need? 🙂

But, the specs for the Hercules and new Google phone make me think about waiting it out...
