I have a 9800 non-pro and I overclocked it to 408.38 core and 318.94 memory. I used the ATITool to overclock and also made alot of tweaks useing Rage3D Tweak. I run Doom at 1024x768 at medium quality. AA is off and so is v-sync. All the other options are enabled I believe. I notice that when I'm playing when I look closely at a characters face little black dots will flash for only a split second and it only happens every few seconds. Also I'll notice little white dots on rails sometimes when I'm walking through the game. They also only flash for a second every so often. Am I causeing damage to my video card? I'm useing the VGA Silecer and OCZ BGA Ramsinks. Please Help.

Was the overclock stable with all other games? Doom 3 supposedly stresses new parts of the card tho. Back off like 5 Mhz and see if it helps things, if not, back off some more. Just keep backing off until you don't see any random dots or other artifacts. What kind of error did you get?

I also noticed a very slight ghosting effect as I move. Very very slight, but noticable. Is this normal? It seems like it only happens in certain areas. Could it be due to the overclock? Or maybe changes in Rage3DTweak.
